Summer Colours
When looking at sprucing up your home ready for summer there are a few things to consider, as well as your own home decor and style, before jumping straight to buying your new spring blinds. The first of these is choosing the right colours, this can be a huge variety but the really important bit is to start straying away from deep dark wintery colours, like dark reds and warming oranges/golds and head toward more pale yellows and blues to create the illusion of space.
Using colours like these in furnishings, like bespoke fitted blinds, can help make the room feel cooler when the sun starts shining and the day warm up. The lighter colours also help with the reflection of light and making the room more spacious and as the day is longer it has a greater effect. Cooler colours such as blues and pastel purples also help you get relief from the heat outside while simulating the colours of wildflowers and bring the outdoors in.
